Woman Leaders 2018 publication

The Who is Who publications, took the initiative to present a new edition for the woman leaders in business. The issue 2018 includes curiculum vitae from succesful women Managing Directors and CEOs from businesses with financial turnover over EURO 300.000. We are very happy to inform you that our manager Ms. Mary Gogossis, was included in 2018 issue, in the shipping category, as a successful director of our company. Her career in yachting business started in 1977. In 1984, she launched the first company GM Yachting in partnership with her ex-husband and her brother.In 2001, Ms. Gogossis established her own company MG YACHTS Ltd. At this moment MG YACHTS is a leading yachting company in Greece. Tulln Boat Show 2018

For one more year, we visited TULLN boat Show in order to visit partners and friends. This year Fotini and Stavroula represented MG Yachts in the show! A brand new catamaran Lagoon 40 added to our fleet!

With her new visual identity, the 40 immediately stands out. While faithful to the image of Lagoon’s “DNA”, a new style is born: an individual, streamlined and accomplished design depicts her large portholes and panoramic view. She boasts advanced performance features including a VPLP hull structure and new generation rigging: an increased sail area provides a better sail surface area/displacement ratio. Her mast step is positioned further aft, based on VPLP’s competitive sailing experience, providing numerous advantages to this vessel, with a self-tacking jib for simplified manoeuvres. She boasts a large forward triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails: a guarantee of performance. And the mainsail, with a high aspect ratio, enabling the capture of better airflow in the upper parts of the sail promises optimised performance.
