Paleros is a picturesque and historic small town located on the west coast of mainland Greece which sits against the amazing backdrop of the Arcananian Mountains and opposite of Lefkada and Kefalonia. The city is evocatively situated in a breathtaking backdrop of beautiful and serene landscape and the crystal clear waters of the Ionian Sea. The town is located 28 kilometers south of the Aktion airport and 26 km by car or 10 nautical miles south east of Lefkas. Aktion airport is a preferred facility for tourists with destinations of Epirus and Lefkada. Paleros is a place of tourist interest that harmoniously combines traditional elements with modern facilities and amenities. Traditional tavernas, cafes, beachfront bars and a beautiful beach for those who would like to have a quick dip before their embarkation, are within walking distance from the port. In addition, Paleros is the perfect place for those who love sailing as it is hard to imagine a more perfect sailing and cruising area. Due to this unique combination of the mountains absorbing all humidity and the sea which is around the area, has a pleasant dry and mild climate. During summer the wind picks up at midday, blows through the afternoon and disappears at sunset giving therefore no worries to the travelers about anchor holding during the night! Paleros belongs to Municipality of Vonitsa, which is a picturesque beach-town with a rich historic background only 16 km away. Vonitsa is set in a lush, green landscape overlooking the Ambracian Gulf, which is one of the few places in Greece where you still get a peek of the endangered bottlenosed dolphins. This is mainly because of the rich stock of sardines in the Ambracian Gulf, where industrial fishing is impossible. Two brand new Beneteau Oceanis 40.1 will added to our fleet for the upcoming season 2021! They will be able to accomodate up to 10 guests on board. 8 guests in 4 spacious cabins (3 double cabins and 1 cabin with upper and lower beds) along with a saloon that converts into a bed for 2 additional guests. They will have also 2 heads, one in the aft and one in the bow. LATEST UPDATED PROTOCOL FOR ARRIVALS IN GREECE [COVID-19]
From the July 1st, 2020, the Greek government has determined how the country will welcome travellers, carry out the necessary diagnostic screening and keep everyone safe throughout the season.The Passenger Locator Form (PLF) is a key element in the planning. All travellers are obliged to complete their PLF at least 48 hours before entering the country, either by sea, by air, or from the land borders, providing detailed information on their point of departure, the duration of previous stays in other countries, and the address of your stay while in Greece. – Travellers will receive a confirmation email upon submission of the PLF.– Travellers will receive the PLF with the QR code one day before their scheduled arrival in Greece and will be notified via email. Updated Health protocols due to the covid-19 for the upcoming season
Dear Sailors, Greece has been named as one of the safest destinations in the world for travelers since the timely restrictive measures taken by the authorities resulted in effective control of its spread. For this reason, the government is proceeding with gradually lifting the measures taken to halt the spread of Covid-19 and guiding to its normal state, while we are getting ready to welcome you back! Greece has announced the reopening of its borders. It will allow international flights to Athens from June 15 and to all airports in Greece from July 1. There will be NO 14-day quarantine on entry. Our bases will be ready and waiting to receive charters from Athens and Lavrion, Paros, Kos & Rhodes, Skiathos and Volos, Lefkas and Corfu. We have applied all the latest safety protocols and extend the health measures to our boats in order to contain a safe and covid-free environment onboard so as to enjoy mind-free charter vacations in secure. We, at MG Yachts are closely monitoring the situation and strive to our best in order to protect every aspect of our operations and to provide support and guidance regarding any of your concerns. ICE 2019, Marx Halle, Vienna | November 2019 Another ICE exhibition ended with the best memories for us! It was a great pleasure to be a part of this well-organised exhibition which becomes better and beter every year. For one more year, ICE gave us the opportunity to meet up with our partners all over the world, discuss on how we are gonna mutually improve our yachting services, about the customers’ needs in each local market, and of course to get feedback for the last season bookings. In addition, we took advantage of the exhibition to present to everyone, our new ideas for the upcoming season, the new additions to our fleet and of course make some fun and share some wine and ouzo! Last but not least, it was a pleasure for us, to meet up with new partners, people who are inspired and share the same passion with us, to present to them our company and discuss the details or our future collaboaration.
